When her E is spent and she's in your range.
How the lane plays · Gold – Platinum
Poppy outranges your auto-attacks and can stop your leap, so you need to trap her with E and fight on your own timing.
Her Q (Hammer Shock) reaches farther than your AA. Sidestep the zone, then trade with W, AA and Q on the blade edge to build bleed stacks.
With E (Apprehend) online, pull her in after she uses Q or E. Keep your back away from walls, since her E (Heroic Charge) can stun you there.
Her W (Steadfast Presence) can stop your R leap, and her R knocks you away. Look to bait W first, then go in with full stacks.
Play it aggressive
After she misses or uses Q, walk up and use E, W, AA and Q to get your bleed stacks.
When her E is spent, pull her in with E (Apprehend) and fight in the open without a wall behind you.
With the wave pushed toward her tower, use E to stop her disengaging, then try to stack her to five.
Play it safe
When her E is ready and a wall is behind you, hold your position, because the stun starts her whole combo.
At level 6 with her R up, avoid committing a full all-in with Q and R, since a knockback wastes it.
When her W is up and you only have R to close, wait. A stopped leap leaves you slowed and grounded.

Pushes you away and stuns you if a wall is behind you. Stand with open space behind you, especially near river walls and brush.
Stops dashes near her, which can ruin your R leap. Make her spend it first, or pull her with E and finish with R.
Knocks you very far away, which ends your all-in and resets the fight. Try not to stack bleeds on her when her R is up.
