Yes! Playing is free forever — and hosting EVERY format is free too (manual mode, up to 32 teams, with free 5v5 auto-refereed by Riot). You can also subscribe to Verified (your checkmarked competitive identity + 64-team hosting), Elite (for players — exclusive ranking, badge, advanced stats and 128-team hosting) or Studio (for organizers — unlimited manual events and every format auto-refereed by Riot).

What's the difference between Elite and Studio?

Elite (€7.99/mo) is built for players: an Elite badge, exclusive ranking, advanced stats, early registration, Elite-only brackets, 1v1 hosting and up to 128 teams. Studio (€18.99/mo) is built for organizers and adds the full toolkit — UNLIMITED manual events (any size, any game: Arena / TFT / LAN), every format auto-refereed by Riot up to 128 teams, Best-of-5, private tournaments and branding. Both bill monthly, quarterly or yearly.

How does the automated tracking work?

For League brackets, you link your official Riot account and copy the generated lobby code. Play your match normally — the second the Nexus is destroyed, Olymps reads the official Riot API, confirms the winner, and advances the bracket instantly. Zero screenshots, zero manual reporting.

Can I host Arena, TFT or non-League tournaments?

Yes — and it's free. Manual mode runs any tournament — Arena, Teamfight Tactics, LANs, any game, even League itself — in every format, free up to 32 teams (the tier ladder scales to 64, 128 and unlimited). You seed the bracket, players play, you enter results. For League 1v1 and 5v5, you can additionally let the Riot API officiate automatically.

Which servers can I play on?

EUW, EUNE and NA. Connect the Riot account you actually play on — the server is read from your account, so you're automatically placed in the right brackets and ladder. Tournaments are region-locked by design: a Riot lobby belongs to one server, so every player in a bracket is on the same region. That's what keeps ping fair and results verifiable.

What tournament formats are supported?

Single and double elimination, Swiss system, round-robin, groups → playoffs, and free-for-all placement lobbies (for Arena and TFT) — every one of them free to host in manual mode. Sizes run from 1v1 and 2v2/3v3 to full 5v5 — automated brackets up to 128 teams, manual up to unlimited (tier ladder) — with a configurable Best-of per phase.

How do I host my own tournament?

Streamers, community leaders and players can all host on Olymps. For League, the engine generates the lobby codes and tracks results automatically; for any other game, switch to manual mode and run it yourself. Visit the 'Host Tournaments' page to get started.

Can I spectate live matches?

Accepted Answer

Yes — with the free Olymps Companion (Windows). Open its Live · Spectate tab and, once both teams are in the lobby, you seat yourself as a spectator in your own client in one click (the in-game view runs about 3 minutes behind live, Riot's standard spectator delay). Every match also has a public live page on the web with the score, rosters and per-game stats.

I'm a streamer — how does Olymps help me grow?

Add your Twitch, YouTube, Kick or TikTok channel on your profile and you appear on the community Streamers page, where players discover and follow you. Cast any tournament match live with the Companion for free content, and host your own community cups — all officiated by the Riot API.

Do I need a full team to play?

Accepted Answer

No! Olymps offers 1v1 duels, and a Free Agent / Solo Queue feature where you queue alone or as a duo and get automatically matched with players of your exact skill level to form a balanced 5v5 roster.

When and how do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Tournament prizes are paid securely via Stripe Connect Express. On your first win you complete a quick KYC (ID + IBAN, about 5 minutes) required by EU anti-money-laundering rules. Prizes are split automatically and sent to each winning member within 5–7 business days.

Are smurfs and scripters allowed?

Absolutely not. We use strict Elo verification — accounts need a minimum level and a ranked history to participate. Any account caught smurfing, scripting or being toxic is permanently banned from the platform.
