Welcome to Olymps. By accessing or using our platform at https://olymps.gg and the associated tournament services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Eligibility and Authentication

You must be at least 13 years old to use Olymps. We do not require you to create a separate account—authentication is handled exclusively via Riot Sign-On (RSO). By logging in with RSO, you confirm that you meet Riot’s eligibility requirements and consent to the transmission of your Riot account identifier, summoner name, and email address (if you authorize us to receive it). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your RSO credentials.

2. Tournament Registration and Participation

Tournaments on Olymps run in every format — single and double elimination, Swiss, round-robin and groups → playoffs — with up to 128 teams per automated event (manual-mode events have no fixed team cap). There are two categories of tournaments:

Public tournaments, open to all registered users at no additional cost.
Elite tournaments, exclusive to subscribers of our Elite plan.

Each tournament displays its start/end dates, minimum or maximum rank/Elo requirements, and prize pool. To register, simply click the Register button on the tournament page before the deadline. Team size varies by event — 1v1 duels, 2v2/3v3/4v4, full 5v5, or free-for-all (FFA) placement lobbies — with team events run under a single captain.

3. Subscriptions and Access

Public tournaments: free for any user authenticated via RSO.
Elite tournaments: require an active Elite subscription, billed monthly, quarterly or yearly through Stripe (Card) or PayPal.

We offer paid subscription tiers, each billed monthly, quarterly or yearly (the current tiers and prices are listed on the Pricing page). Elite (for players) grants access to Elite-only tournaments and premium features (ad-free experience, exclusive ranking and badge, advanced stats, "Join with one click", priority support). The organizer tier (sold as Elite Pro or Studio) adds the full organizer toolkit — unlimited manual events (any size, any game — Arena, TFT, LAN), every format auto-refereed up to 128 teams, private tournament creation, Elo restrictions and branding. Paid tiers also raise the hosting size cap (64, 128 or unlimited teams by tier). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

4. Prize Distribution

Notification of Winners: Within 24 hours of the final match, only the individual winners will receive an in-platform notification and an invitation to submit payout details.
Collect Payout Details: Winners must complete the “Valid Payout Details” form—connecting their bank account via Stripe Connect (KYC required: ID + IBAN)—via their Olymps profile within 5 business days of notification.
Individual Disbursement: Prize money is paid directly to each winning team member. Payments are processed through Stripe Connect Express and distributed to each member within 5–7 business days after valid details are received.
Service Fees & Taxes: Any applicable platform service fee (e.g. 5%) will be deducted before disbursement. Winners are responsible for any local taxes on prizes received.
Failed or Disputed Payments: If a payout attempt fails (invalid details, chargeback, etc.), winners have 5 days to correct their information. Unresolved payouts may be forfeited in accordance with the tournament’s rulebook.

5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Cheat, hack, or use unauthorized third-party software in any tournament.
Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against other users.
Upload or share content that is defamatory, infringing, obscene, or unlawful.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

Violations may result in warning, disqualification, suspension, or permanent ban.

6. Intellectual Property

“Olymps,” its logos, and all related designs and content are the property of Olymps or its licensors. All Riot Games intellectual property (including game names, logos, and in-game assets) used on this site is used under license in accordance with Riot’s official tournament licensing terms. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of our content or Riot’s IP without prior written permission.

7. Independence and Trademarks

Olymps is an independent project created in accordance with Riot Games' 'Legal Jibber Jabber' policy. This project is neither endorsed nor sponsored by Riot Games and does not reflect the opinions or positions of Riot Games or any entity affiliated with Riot Games. “Riot Games,” its logo, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. Furthermore, the tournaments hosted on Olymps are not affiliated with or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. or League of Legends Esports.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Olymps does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Olymps disclaims all warranties, express or implied. In no event will Olymps be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Olymps’s total liability for direct damages is capped at the total subscription fees you have paid in the twelve months preceding any claim.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by French law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Olymps after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. Please review this page regularly.
