1. Information Collection

Olymps does not require you to create a separate account—authentication is handled exclusively via Riot Sign-On (RSO). When you log in with RSO, we receive your Riot account identifier, summoner name, and email address (if you grant us that scope). We do not collect first name, last name, or phone number on registration.

In addition, if you choose to enter paid tournaments or subscribe to a paid plan, we collect payment details processed securely through Stripe (subscriptions and payouts via Stripe Connect) or PayPal (subscriptions only). Finally, we gather anonymous usage data—pages visited, session duration, IP address, and device/browser information—via cookies and analytics tools.

2. Use of Information

Your Riot Sign-On data lets us authenticate you and fetch match and ranking details needed to power Olymps. Payment information is used solely to process subscriptions and manage any refunds or payouts. Anonymous analytics help us monitor platform performance, fix bugs, and build new features. We also use your email (via RSO) to send you tournament confirmations, bracket updates, and critical security alerts.

3. Information Sharing

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share only what’s necessary with:

Riot Games, to validate your identity and fetch match history.
Stripe and PayPal, to handle paid subscriptions (PayPal or Card), and prize payouts exclusively via Stripe Connect Express.
Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics), for anonymized usage reporting.

If required by law or to defend our rights, we may also disclose data to government or legal authorities.

4. Data Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures—TLS encryption in transit, secure hosting, strict access controls, and regular audits. However, no system is perfectly secure; please safeguard your RSO credentials.

5. User Rights

Under applicable data-protection laws (including GDPR), you may request access to, correction or deletion of, your personal data, or object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@olymps.gg. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Olymps website (olymps.gg) sets no measurement cookie until you decide. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse audience measurement (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager) and advertising signals — refusing takes one click. Your choice is stored for 6 months in a strictly necessary cookie named olymps_consent (and in your browser's local storage), and you can change it at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Google's tags run in Consent Mode: while measurement is refused, no analytics cookie is written.

Signing in on the Olymps app relies on strictly necessary session storage, which needs no consent. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working.

7. Children’s Privacy

Olymps is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it immediately.

8. Discord and Bots

By joining our Discord server, you consent to our bot collecting your Discord user ID and server interaction data for the purpose of sending tournament alerts, platform news, and support messages. You may opt out at any time by leaving the server.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Changes take effect immediately upon posting, so please review it periodically to stay informed of any updates.
