How the lane plays · Gold – Platinum
Urgot outranges you and wins long, slow trades; you want short, mobile trades on his cooldowns, then a Q stack and E (Soul Unbound) to close the gap.
Urgot's 350 range lets him poke you with AA and Q (Corrosive Charge). Trade when his Q is down and step in with Q stacks plus AA.
With Q, W and E up you have more ways to dodge his slow. Look for Q, Q into AA when his E is spent.
His R (Fear Beyond Death) can pin and execute you low. Your R pulls him in, so keep your health high and use it when he has spent his E.
Play it aggressive
Right after he spends Q: walk up, hit Q for the stack, then Q again for the dash and knock-up.
When his E is down, E (Soul Unbound) in, trade, and let the spirit return damage finish the exchange.
Push the wave first and trade when he has to last-hit near your side.
Play it safe
When he has W, Q and E all up in a short window, the trade is his: back off.
Once he hits level 6, play safer at low health and avoid walking in a line from him.
When his E (Disdain) is ready and you've used your dash, his flip gets you away from the wave.
Their threats · Riot's cooldowns
A long-range drill that hits the first champion and can execute you when low. Stay healthy in fights and don't sit in a straight line with him.
Ranged explosive that slows. It makes your Q dash and engages harder to land. Step out of the target area or trade right after he casts it.
Purge slows him but shreds anyone close, and it targets enemies he just hit. Don't stay in melee after he lands a Q.
