How the lane plays · Iron – Silver
Darius wins long close-range fights if he lands E and stacks bleed; you win by poking with Q and E, fighting near your flag, and avoiding his pull.
Clears are close. Darius's P and Q make drawn-out skirmishes risky for you. Fight only near your own camps, with W and Q ready, and use your AA proc first.
Scuttle is the first real contest. Look for an E (Demacian Standard) into Q opener when his E is down, and gank lanes where he has no pull.
His R (Noxian Guillotine) finishes low-health, stacked targets in your lanes. Your R makes an arena that traps him once he is committed, so pick fights deliberately.
Play it aggressive
Take scuttle if his E is down: E (Demacian Standard) then Q for the knockup, then W when he closes in.
Gank lanes when his Darius is not near: Q knockup into AA gets quick kills on overextended laners.
Invade only when you see him farming elsewhere on the map, and look for a quick Q-E trade.
Play it safe
Do not walk up to him for AA when his E or Q is ready: he gets the stacks and the heal.
Back off from long fights: his bleed stacks and heal beat you the longer the fight goes.
When your lane is low and he has R, expect a leap finish and play safe instead of chasing.

Pulls you into his axe range and sets up his Q and W. Stay out of range when he has it, and do not walk up while it is ready.
Blade at the edge deals the most damage and heals him. Stay at max range, and do not stay in melee range after he starts the swing.
True damage that grows with bleed stacks, and it resets on a kill. Keep your health up in fights and avoid giving him stacks.
