How the lane plays · Gold – Platinum
Kalista has the shorter range, but Yunara's slow and ghost-speed burst can be answered by hopping in and out with Martial Poise attacks and a stocked E (Rend).
Yunara's W (Arc of Judgment) slows and you want to avoid eating it. Poke with Q (Pierce) into AA stacks, then use E (Rend) when the minion wave and stacks line up.
Her R (Transcend One's Self) upgrades W and E into laser and dash. Respect that window, but your R (Fate's Call) can save or reposition your support for a fight if you read the engage.
Play it aggressive
After she uses W (Arc of Judgment) and it is on cooldown, step in with Martial Poise AAs and look for a stacked E (Rend).
When she spends mana on Q or W and has to hold back, push the wave and poke her with Q (Pierce).
When minions are low and your E (Rend) can finish them while also hitting her, you can trade then step back out.
Play it safe
Her Transcendent State is active (after R): her W becomes a laser and E becomes a dash, so trade less.
When you have no spear stacks on her, going in only gives her free hits at her longer range.
When her Q is up and the wave is standing near you, her attacks spread, so stand back.

Slow plus damage from long range. Stay out of its line behind minions, and look to trade right after she throws it.
Attack speed and on-hit spread in the wave. Be careful of long AA trades when she has it up; hit and step back.
Ghosted move speed lets her walk out of trades, and her upgraded dash after R lets her reposition. Don't chase without a kill in range.
