Jinx vs Twitch · Bot
The lane in ten seconds, then the whole brief — written by our coach for your level, from Riot's own kits for patch 16.21. Every number checked against Riot's data. Options, never orders.
The same lane is not played the same way in Silver and in Diamond: pick your level, the advice changes. Signed in, Olymps opens on your rank. Coaching, not statistics — the abilities and Riot's cooldowns are the same at every level.
Stay at range; punish him when he walks up, and respect his invisibility.
He can go invisible and walk up; step back.
When he steps up to last-hit
How the lane plays · Iron – Silver
Jinx has the range edge in a poke lane, while Twitch wants a short window to stack venom and burst. Stay at range and punish him when he walks up.
Use Q (Switcheroo!) rockets to poke from beyond his range when he steps up to last-hit. Keep your mana for W, and don't trade into his poison stacks.
Hold E (Flame Chompers!) as your safety tool. Lay it between you and him, or use it to catch him when he commits. A W (Zap!) hit gives you a reveal and a slow.
R (Super Mega Death Rocket!) can finish a hurt Twitch from far away. Respect his R (Spray and Pray) in a straight line, and keep your side of the lane tidy.
Play it aggressive
When he spends W (Venom Cask) on the wave or misses you, look for W (Zap!) and Q rockets while it's down.
Poke with Fishbones from max range when he walks up to last-hit. He has to take hits or give up CS.
If he uses Q (Ambush) to retreat, push the wave and then reset or take plates safely.
Play it safe
When he goes invisible with Q (Ambush), back off. He may be about to engage, and a rooted Jinx can't escape.
If you've taken poison stacks, don't stand and trade. Retreat before he gets a chance to use E (Contaminate).
When he reaches level 6, don't stand in a straight line with him, because R (Spray and Pray) pierces everything in its path.
Their threats · Riot's cooldowns
Ambush hides him and speeds him up, so he can walk up unseen. If he vanishes, step back toward your support and the turret instead of staying in front.
Venom Cask slows you and applies poison, which sets up his E. Stay out of its area and don't stand still in front of your own wave.
Contaminate hits harder the more poison is on you. Don't let his auto attacks stack up for free; disengage before the stacks build.
Your combo
When he steps up to last-hit: slow him with W, then use Fishbones range and auto attacks to poke, and back off before he can stack venom.

Everything about Jinx →How this is written
Our coach reads both kits exactly as Riot publishes them for the current patch — abilities, cooldowns, costs, ranges — and writes the lane for one level at a time: Iron – Silver, Gold – Platinum, Emerald – Diamond, Master+. Every number in the text is checked against Riot's data; a line that cites anything else is dropped. No win rates, no tier lists: coaching, not statistics.
