How the lane plays · Iron – Silver
You out-range Jhin by 100 and can poke him freely, but his traps, root and slows punish careless steps forward when you chase or stand still.
Your 650 range beats his 550. Poke when he walks up for a last-hit, and keep W (Yordle Snap Trap) behind you for safe pressure.
Set W traps on the wave edge and bush paths. Use Q (Piltover Peacemaker) through minions to hit him. Watch where he drops E (Captive Audience) before you step forward.
Both ultimates reach across the map and hurt low health. Back off at low health, stay near your support, and finish kills with R (Ace in the Hole) only when it is safe.
Play it aggressive
Poke with AA when he steps up to last-hit, since your range is longer.
Fire Q down the lane through the wave when he stands behind minions, to hit him and clear them.
When he spends W or Q on the wave, look for a short trade while those are down.
Play it safe
Do not chase him past the wave: lotus traps and his slow punish overextending.
When you are low, do not stand in a straight line with him, as W and R can finish you.
If the jungler is unseen and the lane is pushed forward, back off rather than hold the wave.
