How the lane plays · Gold – Platinum
Urgot outranges you and wins the poke game, but you close the gap with E (Spinning Slash) and punish his cooldown gaps with Fury and R.
Urgot's range lets him poke with Q and AA. Stay near the wave edge, build Fury on minions, and look to dash in when his Q is spent.
Short trades work best: E in, AA a few times, W (Mocking Shout) to cut his damage, then leave before his Q and E are back.
R (Undying Rage) lets you commit to all-in fights. Respect his R, since a chem-drill can pull you in and execute you low. Pop yours early if you're caught.
Play it aggressive
After he wastes Q on minions or a miss, E onto him and trade with AA while his poke is down.
When he uses E (Disdain) to engage or dodge, hit him back with W and AA as his shield fades.
With R ready and his R down, you can commit to a long fight and win on sustain.
Play it safe
When his Q is up and you're low, don't stand in the open. Slow plus Purge makes trades painful.
If his R is up and you're at low health, back off before it lands, or hold your own R.
Don't chase him with W and E spent. His Purge and slow can punish a short, badly timed all-in.

Impales the first champion hit from long range, and can execute if you drop low. Don't sit at low health in his sight line without R.
Slowing poke at range. It makes trades one-sided if you walk up without a plan. Sidestep the target area and dash in after it lands elsewhere.
Purge shreds you when you stay close, especially after he hits you with Q. Use W (Mocking Shout) to reduce the damage, or step out of its range.
