How the lane plays · Gold – Platinum
Nidalee wants to poke from 1500 range and never let Darius touch her; Darius wants one E (Apprehend) pull to turn the lane into a brawl.
Look for Q (Javelin Toss) pokes on cooldown while he walks up to last-hit. Stay out of his E range and keep your wave near your side.
Use W (Bushwhack) in the lane brush or on his approach path to set up Q. Darius stacks Hemorrhage fast in melee, so end trades before they drag out.
R (Aspect Of The Cougar) gives you Pounce to escape and Takedown to burst. His R (Noxian Guillotine) punishes low health, so keep your life total high.
Play it aggressive
Poke with Q while his E is on cooldown; he has to walk into your range to trade back.
Drop W on his approach lane, then land Q when he is slowed by the trap or hesitates.
When he uses Q on a minion or on air, you can poke freely during his cooldown.
Play it safe
When his E is up and you are in range, step back; a pull into stacked Hemorrhage is a lost trade.
Be careful pushing the wave far; Darius walking up unpunished gets free stacks on you.
Once he has R, avoid standing at low health near him, since the leap deals true damage.
Their threats · Riot's cooldowns
Pulls you into melee and cancels your spacing. Stay outside its range and keep minions between you when he has it up.
Wide axe swing that hits hardest at the blade's edge and heals him off you. Don't stand at the edge of his reach; step out of the circle.
Leaps onto you for true damage that grows with Hemorrhage stacks. Don't let stacks build, and avoid low health when he is level 6.
