How the lane plays · Gold – Platinum
Heimerdinger wants to stay at range and let turrets and rockets do the work, while Sett wants to close the gap, stack Grit and force a melee brawl.
Poke with W (Micro-Rockets) while he walks up, and keep E (Electron Storm Grenade) ready for his approach. Q (H-28 G Evolution Turret) near your tower helps with the wave.
He wants to trade once he has Q, W and E. Place turrets so he has to walk through them, and hold E for his engage.
R (UPGRADE!!!) makes your next spell stronger, so the upgraded E is a strong answer to his dive. His R can pick you up when you are caught without E.
Play it aggressive
When his E is on cooldown, push in with W and place Q turrets to zone him off the wave.
After he spends W on minions or a trade, poke more freely, since the big punch is gone.
When he walks into a turret setup, land E (Electron Storm Grenade) for the stun and let turrets and W finish the trade.
Play it safe
When his E is up and you have no E, stay out of his reach and keep the wave near your tower.
At level 6 with his R available, avoid standing alone far from your turrets or tower.
When he has a stored Grit bar and you are low on mana, skip the poke and save E.
Their threats · Riot's cooldowns
Facebreaker pulls you in and stuns if you are caught between two sides, such as you and a turret. Stay out of his reach and keep your own E ready.
Haymaker turns damage he took into a shield and a big punch. Poking him just before it goes off feeds it, so trade in short bursts and then step back.
Knuckle Down gives him speed toward you and extra max-health damage on his next two attacks. Do not let him close the gap for free; kite back to your turrets.
