Rengar vs Wukong · Jungle
The lane in ten seconds, then the whole brief — written by our coach for your level, from Riot's own kits for patch 16.21. Every number checked against Riot's data. Options, never orders.
The same lane is not played the same way in Silver and in Diamond: pick your level, the advice changes. Signed in, Olymps opens on your rank. Coaching, not statistics — the abilities and Riot's cooldowns are the same at every level.
Ambush from brush and burst fast; don't brawl.
Keep Ferocity to break his knock-up, or bait it first.
Brush ambush when his dash and clone are down.
How the lane plays · Master+
Rengar wants brush ambushes and short burst trades; Wukong wants longer fights where his passive armor and regen stack. Tempo and vision control decide the pathing.
Wukong's passive builds armor and regen in extended fights, so a long skirmish favors him. Look for a brush ambush with a fast burst, and disengage if he stays on you.
With all three basics, a full Ferocity E (Bola Strike) root can set up a kill near scuttle. Watch his path first, since his E (Nimbus Strike) lets him close quickly.
R (Thrill of the Hunt) lets you flank without brush, but his R (Cyclone) can knock you up mid-leap. Time your R to his pathing and your lanes' ganks.
Play it aggressive
Ambush from brush on his first clear when you have tracked his path. Land E (Bola Strike), then burst before his passive stacks.
Contest the scuttle crab when his E and W are down. Come in from brush so your AA leaps onto him.
Gank a lane he has just shoved or pushed his own jungle camps out of, and use R to flank when he has already shown his side.
Play it safe
Don't fight him in a long drawn-out skirmish; his passive armor and regen stack while you trade.
If he is on top of you with E and Q (Crushing Blow) active, your armor is reduced. Back off or reset instead of forcing the trade.
Play safe when his R is up and you have no Ferocity for W. A knock-up in an invade can lose you the fight.
Their threats · Riot's cooldowns
Knocks you up and gives him move speed, which can cancel your leap. Hold Ferocity for W (Battle Roar) to break CC, or engage when his R is spent.
Dashes onto a target and sends images that hit nearby enemies. It closes the gap on you and lets him join a gank or invade fast.
Makes him invisible and leaves a clone that fights. He can dodge your leap or fake a position; check which one is real before committing.
Your combo
Start from brush: E root, AA leap, Q burst, and W if he fights back. Best on a lone Wukong.

Everything about Rengar →How this is written
Our coach reads both kits exactly as Riot publishes them for the current patch — abilities, cooldowns, costs, ranges — and writes the lane for one level at a time: Iron – Silver, Gold – Platinum, Emerald – Diamond, Master+. Every number in the text is checked against Riot's data; a line that cites anything else is dropped. No win rates, no tier lists: coaching, not statistics.
