Rammus vs Lee Sin · Jungle

The lane in ten seconds, then the whole brief — written by our coach for your level, from Riot's own kits for patch 16.22. Every number checked against Riot's data. Options, never orders.

Written for

The same lane is not played the same way in Silver and in Diamond: pick your level, the advice changes. Signed in, Olymps opens on your rank. Coaching, not statistics — the abilities and Riot's cooldowns are the same at every level.

JungleRammus vs Lee SinIron – Silver
The key

Rammus wins by timing W and E. Don't chase him.

How the lane plays · Iron – Silver

Lee Sin wants early fights and fast ganks; Rammus wants to stay near his lanes and turn his physical hits into free damage with W and E.

First clear and levels 2

Lee Sin skirmishes well early, so avoid starting a fight in the open. Look for E (Frenzying Taunt) plus W (Defensive Ball Curl) if he walks into your camps.

Levels 3-5

Both of you want scuttle and gank timing. Check which side he started on, and you can contest the crab with Q (Powerball) if his key abilities are down.

Level 6+

R (Dragon's Rage) can kick a laner into their team, and Q (Sonic Wave) can start a gank. Track him, ward his entry side, and answer with R (Soaring Slam).

Play it aggressive

When he spends Q (Sonic Wave) or E (Tempest) on camps or scuttle, you can start with Q (Powerball) into E (Frenzying Taunt) while his key abilities are down.

If his laner pushes far up the lane, a counter-gank with Q (Powerball) and E (Frenzying Taunt) is easy to set up.

If you spot him on the far side early, you can take your own camps or the scuttle crab without a fight.

Play it safe

Do not chase him after he uses W (Safeguard). He can run through the shield, and Q (Powerball) alone will not catch him.

Do not walk into a bush or fog without vision when he has Q (Sonic Wave) up. The dash can punish you for being alone.

Do not invade right after losing a fight. Heal, check your mana for W and E, and wait until both are ready.

Their threats · Riot's cooldowns

Lee Sin Q — Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike
Q · Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike10 → 6 s

Sonic Wave finds you, then Resonating Strike dashes in and hits harder on low health. Dodge the first cast; W (Defensive Ball Curl) as the dash starts.

Lee Sin R — Dragon's Rage
R · Dragon's Rage110 → 60 s

Dragon's Rage kicks a target into others and can ruin a teamfight or a gank. Keep E (Frenzying Taunt) ready to punish the kick.

Lee Sin E — Tempest / Cripple
E · Tempest / Cripple8 s

Tempest reveals you and Cripple slows you, which stops your Q (Powerball) chase or escape. Use W if you commit to the fight.

When he is close and committing: Q to slow, E to taunt, then AA and W so his hits hurt him.

How this is written

Our coach reads both kits exactly as Riot publishes them for the current patch — abilities, cooldowns, costs, ranges — and writes the lane for one level at a time: Iron – Silver, Gold – Platinum, Emerald – Diamond, Master+. Every number in the text is checked against Riot's data; a line that cites anything else is dropped. No win rates, no tier lists: coaching, not statistics.
