Jhin vs Corki · Bot

The lane in ten seconds, then the whole brief — written by our coach for your level, from Riot's own kits for patch 16.21. Every number checked against Riot's data. Options, never orders.

Written for

The same lane is not played the same way in Silver and in Diamond: pick your level, the advice changes. Signed in, Olymps opens on your rank. Coaching, not statistics — the abilities and Riot's cooldowns are the same at every level.

BotJhin vs CorkiIron – Silver
The key

Don't get poked for free; trade when his bomb is gone.

Corki Q — Phosphorus Bomb
Watch · Q · Phosphorus Bomb9 → 7 s

Step sideways, stay out of the wave when it's ready.

Jhin W — Deadly Flourish›AA›Jhin Q — Dancing Grenade
Your window

After he casts Q or steps up to last-hit.

How the lane plays · Iron – Silver

Both carries have 550 range, so the lane comes down to who wastes cooldowns and who stands in the wrong place when the other's poke is ready.

Levels 1-2

Trade only when Corki's Q (Phosphorus Bomb) is on cooldown. Stay behind minions, last-hit with AA, and keep your four-shot rhythm instead of chasing him.

Levels 3-5

Use E (Captive Audience) on the spots he walks to when last-hitting. W (Deadly Flourish) roots him if he was recently damaged, so poke first, then follow up.

Level 6+

R (Curtain Call) punishes low-health targets, but his W (Valkyrie) can dodge it. Use R when he's slowed or rooted, and don't fire it just to be seen.

Play it aggressive

After he uses Q (Phosphorus Bomb) on the wave or on you, step up and AA him while the poke is down.

When he jumps in with W (Valkyrie), place E (Captive Audience) behind you and slow him as he commits.

If he's low after a trade, use W (Deadly Flourish) to root him, then Q and AA to finish.

Play it safe

Back off when he has E (Gatling Gun) ready and you're standing in front of the wave without cover.

Don't walk up for a last-hit if his Q is ready and you can't dodge it. Lose one minion rather than half your health.

Watch the map before extending past the wave. A chasing carry with no jungle info is easy to punish.

Their threats · Riot's cooldowns

Corki Q — Phosphorus Bomb
Q · Phosphorus Bomb9 → 7 s

Long-range bomb that hits an area and reveals you. Don't stand still in the wave at low health; step sideways when you see him cast it.

Corki E — Gatling Gun
E · Gatling Gun12 s

Cone shred that lowers your Armor and Magic Resist. Don't stay in front of him in short trades. Back out and make him spend mana.

Corki W — Valkyrie
W · Valkyrie20 → 12 s

Gap-closer that leaves a fire trail. Don't stay in the fire when he flies in, and expect him to jump on you after a poke.

Your combo

Jhin W — Deadly Flourish›AA›Jhin Q — Dancing Grenade›AA

When he steps up for a last-hit and takes any damage: W roots him, then AA, Q and AA again while he can't leave.

How this is written

Our coach reads both kits exactly as Riot publishes them for the current patch — abilities, cooldowns, costs, ranges — and writes the lane for one level at a time: Iron – Silver, Gold – Platinum, Emerald – Diamond, Master+. Every number in the text is checked against Riot's data; a line that cites anything else is dropped. No win rates, no tier lists: coaching, not statistics.
