FAQ.
Do I pay to enter?
A tournament never has a price. The official cash-prize tournaments are Elite tournaments. One Elite subscription is enough for the whole team: the others pay nothing. The prize pool is funded by the tournament, never by player buy-ins.
How are prizes paid out?
Securely via Stripe Connect, directly to the winners. Payouts are tied to the results read from the Riot API, so there's no manual claim or dispute.
When does a prize unlock — and who gets paid?
A prize unlocks when enough players are there at the draw: 8 in a 1v1, 4 teams otherwise, unless the event shows another number — below it, the evening is played without a prize. And a place is paid only on real play: the winner must have won at least one real game, the other paid places must have played one. Byes, forfeits and coin flips don't count.
Which tournaments have cash prizes?
The official Olymps tournaments that show a prize pool on their page — they are Elite tournaments. The others carry no cash prize: the competition is the point, the prize is a bonus.
Are the results trustworthy?
Yes. 1v1 and 5v5 tournaments are automated via the official Riot API — lobbies, results and brackets are handled automatically. No screenshots, no disputes.
